Does My ID Need to Match the Information on the Letter?
Yes, the name on your identification must match exactly the name on your registration confirmation letter. This is crucial for verifying your identity before the exam. Ensure that all details, including the spelling of your name, match between your ID and the letter.
What Can I Bring With Me for Testing?
For remote proctoring, you will need:
- A valid form of government-issued identification
- Your registration confirmation letter
- A clean, quiet space free from distractions
- A reliable computer with a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone
Note: Additional materials like calculators, notebooks, or textbooks are typically not permitted unless explicitly stated otherwise in the exam guidelines.
What Reasons May Allow Me a Free Re-Sit?
A free re-sit may be granted under exceptional circumstances, such as:
- A technical failure not caused by the candidate
- Serious personal circumstances, such as a medical emergency or bereavement
Each case is evaluated individually, and documentation may be required. If you believe you qualify for a free re-sit, contact our support team. ABCAC will be the final authority for re-sits.
Environmental Requirements
- The testing location must be indoors (walled), well-lit, and free from background noise and disruptions.
- No third party may enter the room during the exam. If this occurs, your exam will be terminated, and results may be invalidated.
- Workstations must be free of pens, paper, electronic devices, or materials that could provide an unfair advantage.
- Two tissues are permitted but must be inspected by the Proctor before the exam.
- If testing in an office, windows or glass doors must be covered or frosted to eliminate distractions. For personal spaces, eliminate distractions where possible.
